This page provides "snapshots" of the LISS heliplots which were taken at about 9:00 pm (MDT) on May 15, 1998. All the usual plots one can see on the LIVE LISS web page are shown here, frozen in time. The snapshots capture an earthquake which is just occurring, at about 2:20 (UTC) on 5/16/98. This earthquake was a magnitude 6.8 event at 585 km depth in the Tonga subduction zone.
